Project 1...Ashleigh
Hi, my name is Jennifer. My best friend April has a 3 year old daughter named Ashleigh Jade. Recently we just found out that Ashleigh has 2 tumors at the base of her brain. As of 1-8-10 we received the dreaded news that Ashleigh's tumors are cancer! So, Ashleigh has been diagnosed with Stage III Anaplastic Astrocytoma....just for a little information Senator Kennedy was diagnosed with Stage IV-the highest stage of this type of cancer. Ashleigh will be undergoing oral chemo and radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks! This is going to be extremely tough for this 3 year old little girl and her family. Ashleigh needs prayer more than anything else in this world right now, and that's what I am hoping to do with these bracelets. Get them out to family over the states and have a nationwide support for Ashleigh's prayer. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY!!!
Project 2...Help Madison
I am a volunteer fire fighter for the Marlow Volunteer Fire Department in Anderson County, TN. During a school presentation my 2 year daughter wandered away from the group of kids she was visiting. She was later found in a creek. Myself and another fire fighter pulled her out and performed CPR. Today she is alive but with severe medical problems.
