NKG Titan Wrestling
My project is a wristband for my high school wrestling team. They all are so amazing and I love them very much. I want to make the band for them so they will have memories of wrestling forever. Most of them are seniors this year. I wanted to just buy the bands but our school dosent have very much money right now considering we have three schools combined just to pay for our wrestling team, which that's why its called NKG Titan Wrestling. Two schools one team one dream!! This what we live by and hope we can reamber the titans forever with these bands.
Green Earth Club Organizer
I am a second grade teacher who has found a 30 year lifelong mission serving the inner city youth of Central Georgia. This year I began a club entitled The Green Earth Club. We set up a recycling center at our school in order to give our troubled students something to focus upon other than violence. Our club has teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House in collecting pop tabs for their charities. We hope to use our recycling center funds from our cans and bottle collection to refurbish our grounds. We are a poor community and my vision is to plant vegetable and flower gardens for the children. This
project will give them a healthy focus, instilling self-worth and cooperative learning. There is much to be gained from taking responsibility. We hope to build an outdoor classroom
where kids can learn science hands-on. We have not made enough money to purchase the bracelets for the students as of yet, but would love to eventually have enough for every student and staff at the school. These bracelets would give everyone a sense of belonging. Please consider our project, as these children are worth saving.
